Bahraini-Iraqi parliamentary cooperation discussed

Manama, May 6 (BNA): Council of Representatives Speaker Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al-Mulla received Iraqi Ambassador to Bahrain Ahmed Nayef Al-Dulaimi, and stressed Bahrain's supportive stance toward maintain Iraq's unity and security, and the need to establish parliamentary cooperation between the two sides. Speaker said that an Iraqi delegation led by his Iraqi counterpart Dr. Saleem Al-Jubouri is scheduled to conduct a visit to Bahrain, during which means of reinforcing parliamentary cooperation and economic projects in the interest of the two countries and their people will be discussed. Iraqi Ambassador hailed the parliamentary role in enhancing bilateral relations.
