Bahraini-Indian cultural cooperation reviewed

Manama , Oct 28 (BNA): Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA)'s President Shaikha Mai bint Mohammad Al Khalifa today received Indian Ambassador to Bahrain Alok Kumar Sinha and discussed ways to enhance cooperation and the latest developments in respect of Little India project. BACA President underlined the strength of relations between the two countries, chiefly cultural. She noted the importance of Little India project in promoting intellectual and cultural communication between the two nations and its contribution to enhancing the cultural tourism industry. The project's first part will be launched during the BACA celebrations of Bahrain National Day in December. The Indian Ambassador lauded the BACA's efforts in boosting the Bahraini-Indian relations, expressing readiness to provide the support needed for the implementation of joint cultural projects in Bahrain.
