Bahraini-British relations discussed

Manama, Jan. 21 (BNA): BDF Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa received today British Minister of State for Defence Procurement Philip Dunne and Defence Senior Advisor for the Middle East General Thomas Beckett on the occasion of their visit to Bahrain to attend Bahrain International Airshow (BIAS) 2016 which kicked off today. During the meeting, which was attended by Defence Affairs Minister Lieutenant General Yussef bin Ahmed Al Jalahma, they discussed relations of friendship and cooperation between Bahrain and the UK, wishing them a good stay in Bahrain to attend the fourth edition of BIAS which is considered as an opportunity to exchange experiences and get updated on cutting edge technologies in the aviation field. They also praised Bahrain's advanced status as a major host of international events and exchanged commemorative gifts. Present at the meeting were also Acting Director of the General Command Court Major General Hassan Mohammed Sa'ad, Inspector General Major General Abdullah Hassan Al Nuaimi and Assistant Chief of Staff for Supply and Logistics Rear Admiral Yussef Ahmed Malallah.
