Bahraini-Austrian talks held

Manama, February17 (BNA) Council of Representatives President Ahmed bin Ibrahim Aم-Mullah has today received an Austrian legislative delegation led by MP Christine Muttonen and stressed the importance of exchanging legislative visits to bolster bilateral relations. The Speaker underlined the need to set up a joint parliamentary friendship committee to exchange views regarding issues of mutual interests and attend functions and events in both countries. MP Christine Muttonen also bilateral relations bonding the Bahrain and Austria and said that the visit of the delegation aims at strengthening cooperation and keeping abreast of Bahrain's landmark development and business strides under the reform and democratic process led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa. The Austrian delegation toured the facilities of the Council of Representatives attended part of the weekly parliamentary session. .
