Bahrain TV founder mourned

Manama, Nov. 20 (BNA): Information and Parliament Affairs Minister Isa bin Abdulrahman Al-Hammadi mourned today the veteran Bahraini media figure and one of the founders of Bahrain TV Abdulwahab Ata who passed away today after a march laden with achievements. He paid homage to the deceased, praying to Allah Almighty to rest his soul in eternal peace and paradise and bless his family, friends and pupils with patience and consolation. He said the deceased was one of the founders of Bahrain TV many decades ago and an active contributor to the development of the media sector in Bahrain. He stressed that the name of late Abdulwahab Ata will remain carved in the memory of the media personnel as one of the pioneers of TV work in Bahrain and the whole region. The Information and Parliament Affairs Minister pointed out that the death of Abdulwahab Ata represents a great loss of a very competent and influential media icon who did a lot in transferring his experience to the young generation and enriching Bahrain's media sector.
