Bahrain-Singapore cooperation ties commended

Manama, Oct. 31 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa the Prime Minister received the senior Singaporean Minister of State for Foreign and Defence Affairs, Dr. Mohamad Maliki Bin Osman, currently visiting the Kingdom of Bahrain to participate in the 11th regional security summit IISS Manama Dialogue. His Royal Highness commended the development and growth of the bilateral economic, trade and investment cooperation ties between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Singapore Republic. HRH the Prime Minister affirmed the Kingdom of Bahrain's keenness of further consolidating the bilateral cooperation with the friendly Republic of Singapore in view of strong friendship, understanding and coordination regarding many reginal and international issues. HRH the Premier said the region is experiencing a big challenge in terms of sustainability of development amidst unstable economic and security atmospheres. His Royal Highness said the Kingdom of Bahrain extends the hand of cooperation with all nations including southeast Asian nations which have economic capabilities and ambitions for development and prosperity similar to Bahrain's. His Royal Highness welcomed any Bahraini-Singaporean cooperation to consolidate the bilateral ties and reap the benefit to both countries and promote cooperation to higher levels. The Singaporean Foreign and Defence Affairs Minister of State expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Prime Minister for his attention to bolstering the bilateral cooperation relations, praising the current development and progress of Bahrain in all fields, and expressed his country's keenness on further expanding the bilateral cooperation relations to achieve the shared interest of both friendly countries and peoples.
