Bahrain schools pay homage to national duty martyrs

Manama, Sept. 12 (BNA): Following directives from the Education Minister Dr. Majid bin Ali Al-Nuaimi, government schools organised a number of functions in honour of the brave Bahraini soldiers who were martyred while performing their sacred national duty within the Saudi-led Arab Coalition to support legitimacy in brotherly Yemen. The move was within the framework to foster patriotism, national identity and social responsibility among students. In some schools, students observed a minute of silence during the morning queue in recognition of the sacrifices of the Bahraini soldiers, while in others students, administrative staff and teachers read poems in which they lauded the martyrs' heroism and valour. Other schools devoted the morning queue to praying Allah Almighty to rest the souls of the martyrs of the nation in eternal peace and accommodate them in Paradise, while another honoured a martyr's son in tribute to his father's heroic role in defending the nation's Arab identity and security.
