Bahrain, Saudi foreign ministers exchange condolences

Manama, Sep.5(BNA): The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Khalifa, and Saudi Foreign Minister Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubair, exchanged condolences over the martyrdom of a number of Bahraini and Saudi soldiers in Yemen. The Foreign Ministers affirmed that martyrs who sacrificed their lives present an example of unity and common destiny that is shared by the two countries and their peoples, asking Allah Almighty to grant the martyrs His mercy, peace and paradise. The Minister of Foreign Affairs confirmed that the death of these brave soldiers on duty is a clear sign of the Kingdom of Bahrain's commitment to supporting Arab causes and Bahrain's contributions to operations " Decisive Storm, Restoring Hope and Golden Arrow" to defend the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to support legitimacy in Yemen and restore security and stability throughout the country. The Foreign Minister pointed that the Kingdom of Bahrain will continue to be supportive of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in its pioneering role in defending Arab and Islamic causes in all regional and international forums, while at the same time continue the finest efforts and progress leading initiatives to achieve the hopes and aspirations of the Arab people stemming from being the strategic backbone of the Arab nation. Shaikh Khalid recalled with appreciation and pride the positions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia towards the Kingdom of Bahrain in all circumstances and it's clear and decisive support for Bahrain's security and stability, development and prosperity and stressed that these timeless attitudes will never be forgotten and will remain forever in the minds of all Bahrainis. For his part, the Saudi Foreign Minister emphasized the strong brotherly relations between Saudi Arabia and Bahrain which are increasingly getting stronger, expanding and developing in all fields and at all levels to meet the aspirations of the two countries and their peoples.
