Bahrain receives invitation to take part in Expo 2020 Dubai

Manama, July 13 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa today received a letter from His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al-Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, inviting the Kingdom of Bahrain to take part in the World Expo 2020 hosted by Dubai. UAE Ambassador to Bahrain Abdulridha Abdullah Khori delivered the letter to HM the King at Al-Safriah Palace. HM the King congratulated the United Arab Emirates on hosting the World Expo 2020 themed "Connecting minds, creating the future." He said that Bahrain welcomes to be a key partner of the international event. HM the King extended appreciation of HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al-Maktoum's generous invitation, paying tribute to the solid relations and cooperation bonding the two countries in the interest of their people. HM the King praised the UAE achievements and successes made at the international level in various areas thanks to the wise leadership of the President of the UAE HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, Vice President HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al-Maktoum and HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces. He wished the UAE every success in staging the big international event.
