Manama, June 26 (BNA) Bahrain dailies issued today focused in their principal headlines on the main local, Arab and international events which happened over the past 24 hours. Here is a round-up of the main press headlines: - HM the King congratulates Slovenian and Mozambican presidents. -Premier visits the majlisses of Abdulla bin Khalid and Ibrahim bin Hamad and hails the diversity of the Bahraini society which enriches national work. -Crown Prince visits the majlisses of Faisal Jawad, Al-Musallem and Al-Bouainain and stressed the importance of protecting Bahrain and putting the interests of the homeland and citizens above all other considerations. -Crown Prince receives US Ambassador and calls for regional and international efforts to combat the spreading terror scourge. -Deputised by HRH the Premier, Ali bin Khalifa opens the mosque of late Shaikha Mooza. -Interior Minister launches the national anti-drug strategy in the presence of ministers. -Iraqi Prime Minister receives Bahrain ambassador to Baghdad and stresses his country’s keenness on good neighbourliness. -The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) condemns the terrorist attack which targeted the UAE convoy in Mogadishiu, Somalia. -Palestinians submit first war crimes evidence against Israel to the International Criminal Court (ICC). -Two hundred students swarm the headquarters of the US Embassy in Burundi for protection. -Obama to meet Nigerian President next month to discuss the war on Boko Haram. -Heat wave claims over 1000 lives in five days in Pakistan.
