Bahrain pavilion shines at Expo Milan

Milan, Sep 1 (BNA): President of Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa has confirmed that the Expo Milan, Italy, in which the Kingdom of Bahrain is participating, has allocated a national day for each participating country to exhibit its own special events that distinguish them from other countries. BACA President told Bahrain News Agency that Expo Milan has named the fourth of September to be the national day for the Bahraini pavilion to present its special events. Where the national anthem will be played in the presence of HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister. Then Bahrain Police Musical Band will present a musical show, in addition Mohammad bin Faris Band will take part in the event which will also comprise a Bahraini fashion show. Shaikha Mai Al Khalifa stressed that the Bahraini pavilion was among top three notable participating pavilions and has attracted the attention of many foreign critics and journalists attended the Expo, which is seeing the participating of more than 145 countries. She said that the BACA has chosen representatives to shed light on outstanding Bahraini talents and to promote Bahrain's international standing through their excellence.
