Bahrain participates in Rights of Religious Minorities Conference

Manama, Jan 25 (BNA): Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments Undersecretary for Islamic Affairs Dr. Farid bin Yacoub Al-Miftah stressed that the Kingdom of Bahrain is a model of peaceful coexistence, mutual respect and tolerance. Al-Miftah told Bahrain News Agency (BNA), on the sidelines of his participation in the Rights of Religious Minorities in Muslim Countries Conference being held in Marrakesh, Morocco, that the Bahraini delegation will introduce Bahrain's experience in safeguarding the rights of religious minorities as guaranteed by the Bahraini Constitution. He noted that the Muslim clerics should tackle the challenges faced nowadays in their religious discourses, expressing thanks to the Kingdom of Morocco to for holding this important conference which comes at a crucial and difficult stage experienced by Islamic societies.
