Bahrain participates in OIC meeting

Manama, Apr. 23 (BNA): The Shura Council and Council of Representatives Affairs Minister, Ghanim bin Fadhul Al-Buainain, led the Kingdom of Bahrain's delegation to the Asian African Summit Conference2015. The minister participated in the Organisation of Islamic Countries (OIC) meeting chaired by Indonesian President Joko Widodo on the side-lines of Jakarta Summit. The meeting discussed cooperation to cope with the present challenges facing Islamic countries, especially the Palestinian issue and counterterrorism. The Indonesian President expressed his country's desire to activate cooperation through the OIC.
