Bahrain, Pakistan sign training protocol

Manama, Dec 22 (BNA): National Guard Director of Staff Maj-Gen Shaikh Abdulaziz bin Saud Al Khalifa today received Director of the Foreign Military Cooperation of the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Major-General Iftikhar Ahmed, and the accompanying delegation. The National Guard Director discussed means of strengthening cooperation and friendship relations between the two countries, mainly between the National Guard and Pakistani armed forces. He stressed the need to activate military agreements and memoranda of understanding in the interest of the two countries and their peoples. A joint training protocol between the National Guard and Pakistan's armed forces was signed. In the end of the visit, the two sides exchanged commemorative gifts in the presence of a number of senior National Guard officers.
