Bahrain-Morocco ties hailed

Manama, May 21 (BNA): The Ambassador of Morocco to Bahrain Ahmed Rasheed Khattabi hailed the bilateral ties at all levels which reflect the far-sighted visions and optimum future planning of both countries. This came in the ambassador's address during a ceremony he hosted at his home in honour of the Bahraini side participating in the joint business council recently in the presence of several businessmen. On this occasion, the Moroccan Ambassador told Bahrain News Agency (BNA) that he was confident that members of the Bahraini side participating in the Bahrain-Morocco Business Council will not spare any efforts in contributing to development of the bilateral relations under the directives of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and HM King Mohammed VI of Morocco, to achieve more gains and substantial deeds in the various fields, especially related to aspects of economic, commercial and investment exchange. He commended the business council/s vital role in realizing the ambitions of the two countries to increase of bilateral trade and boosting economic relations in general through the implementation of a series of key projects and initiatives, including the creation of a shipping line, resumption of direct flights between the two countries, benefiting from the ideal business climate of Bahrain as a leading regional financial hub and as the main Gulf gateway into Asian markets; and, also benefiting from Morocco's African depth, Euro-Mediterranean surroundings and its free trade exchange agreements with 55 countries.
