Bahrain-Malaysia cooperation discussed

Manama, Feb 16 (BNA) – Undersecretary for Agriculture and Marine Resources, Shaikh Khalifa bin Isa Al Khalifa, has received a delegation of Serum Malaysia Company led by Executive Director, Dr. Zainal Abdullahi Yusuf. The meeting discussed the Malaysian company's endeavor to benefit from investment opportunities available in Bahrain. Cooperation in agricultural and marine areas to achieve food security in Bahrain also reviewed. Agriculture and Marine Resources Undersecretary stressed keenness on boosting cooperation in all fields. The two sides agreed to sign a memorandum of understanding in areas of agriculture and marine, and benefiting from Malaysian expertise by holding training sessions in the field of food security. Malaysian delegation welcomed establishing cooperation with Agriculture and Marine Department, hailing development witnessed by Bahrain in all fields.
