Bahrain-Jordan energy cooperation discussed

Doha, Nov. 17 (BNA): Energy Minister Dr. Abdul Hussain bin Ali Mirza has held a number of bilateral meetings with energy ministers and heads of organisations, on the sidelines of 6th Asian Ministerial Energy Roundtable (AMER6). He met the Jordanian Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Dr. Ibrahim Saif and reviewed mechanisms to consolidate bilateral cooperation in a number of fields, like energy conservation and uses of renewable energies such as solar and wind power. They reviewed bilateral experiences at developing initiatives and projects for renewable energies and laws to stimulate the adoption of improved energy efficiency projects. Dr. Saif expressed his country's readiness to provide all information on its experience and agreed on a mechanism of bilateral coordination to exchange expertise.
