Bahrain to host OANA Executive Council meetings

Saint Petersburg-May24(BNA) The Organization of Asia-Pacific News Agencies (OANA) Executive Council will convene in Bahrain by the middle of next month, in the presence of more than 20 Asian news agencies. Bahrain News Agency (BNA) Acting director-general Mohanned Al-Nuaimi announced the upcoming meetings as he met Russian Itar Tass director-general and OANA President Sergey Mikhaylov and OANA secretary-general Mikhail Gusman. “Preparations to host the Asian media gathering have already been completed”, he said, stressing directives in this regard from Minister of State for Information Affairs and Government’s Official Spokesperson Sameera Ebrahim bin Rajab and Information Affairs Authority (IAA) President Ali bin Mohammed Al-Romaihi.
