Bahrain to host Invest in Culture Conference

Manama, Jan 18 (BNA): Bahrain will host an international conference on cultural investments under the theme "Investing in Culture: business and social impact". The event is organized by Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) in cooperation with French Foundation "THINKERS and DOERS " and the Manama-based Arab Regional Centre for World Heritage. The conference will be held on January 19at the Bahrain National Theatre, Bahrain National Museum and the Regional Centre of the Arab World Heritage Site. More than 300 investors, officials and decision-makers in the field of culture will attend the event that will discuss investing in culture and its impact on social and economic advancement and the importance in achieving sustainable development. The conference aims to open channels of discussions among artist and representatives of financial institutions on the importance of investing in culture. BACA targets holding strategic partnerships with the private sector through the event. Workshops, discussion sessions in the cultural field will be held on the sidelines of the event. In addition Bahrain Musical Band will hold a musical show led by Maestro Maysa Jonoshi.
