Bahrain to host GCC forum

Manama, Apr.22 (BNA): Dozens of archaeology and history researchers from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) will take part in the 16th edition of the Scientific Forum, scheduled to open on Wednesday (April29). The two-day symposium will be held under the patronage of the Isa Cultural Centre (ICC) Board of Trustees’ Chairman Shaikh Abdulla bin Khalid Al-Khalifa at the InterContinental Regency Bahrain. "Around 150 researchers will take part in the forum and discuss more than 25 studies on Arabian Gulf history and archaeology", said Bahrain University Vice President for Scientific Research, Head of the Forum Preparatory Committee Dr. Ali Mansour Al-Shehab.
