Bahrain to host 2015 Invest In Bahrain Forum

Manama , Oct 28 (BNA): HRH Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa will patronize the 2015 Invest In Bahrain Forum on 4 November 2015, which will be organised by the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism. The forum will be held at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre in cooperation and coordination with Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI); Economic Development Board; the Labour Fund "Tamkeen"; Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company; Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting (GOIC), United Nations Industrial Development "UNIDO" and GCC Chambers Federation. The forum will offer investment opportunities in the field of knowledge-based industries prepared by the ministry in cooperation with GOIC and the World Bank. Mumtalakat will give a detailed presentation of the environment and investment opportunities in the telecommunications and logistics sectors. Gulf Aluminium Council will present investment opportunities in the aluminum sector. Mondelez International (Kraft Foods previously) will review its vision about the reality and opportunities of investing in the food industry in Bahrain. The Ministry of Works, Municipalities and Urban Planning will provide presentations on investment opportunities in strategic projects sector, including roads, sewerage system and buildings. An exhibition will be held on the sidelines of the forum allocated for small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs), in line with the ministry's vision and strategy at supporting and developing the sector of SMEs. The forum is expected to attract Bahraini, Arab and international businessmen, businesswomen, investors and economic figures.
