Bahrain condemns terrorist blast in Kuwait

Manama, June 26 (BNA): The Kingdom of Bahrain has condemned the terrorist attack which targeted Imam Al Sadiq Mosque in Al Sawaber in the brotherly State of Kuwait, and claimed the lives of innocent prayer performers and injuring others. The Kingdom affirmed that this cowardly terrorist act is targeting all, so the misfortune is common and so is the anti-terrorist stance which rejects the criminal terrorist acts that conflict with all the tolerant teachings and principles of Islam and other divine religions. It warned that such criminal acts aim to ignite sectarian and religious strife among the Muslims and drag them into abhorred conflicts that are detrimental to all. Bahrain offered its sincere condolences and consolation to the Kuwaiti leadership and people and to the families of the victims of this painful incident, and hailed the blessed efforts being exerted by His Highness Emir of Kuwait Shaikh Sabah Al Ahmed Al Jaber Al Sabah in fighting terrorism at both regional and global levels. The Kingdom also reiterated its unwavering supportive stand by the side of the brotherly State of Kuwait, supporting all the measures it takes to reinforce security and stability throughout its territory and backing the international efforts aiming to eradicate terrorism and rid the world of this menace that plagues all countries and peoples in the globe.
