Bahrain attends meeting on Arab education

Amman, Jan.30 (BNA): Bahrain has been chosen as member of a committee which will study the reality of education in the Arab World. The pan-Arab ministerial panel also includes the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, Morocco and Tunisia, in addition to the director of the Arab Organization for Education, Science and Culture (ALECSO). The move was announced during a key Arab meeting which was attended in Amman, Jordan, by Education Minister Dr. Majid bin Ali Al-Nuaimi. Experts will be assigned to conduct the study that outlines the challenges facing the Arab educational system and map out a future vision, taking into account international trends. The survey is expected to be submitted to the Arab ministers of education in their upcoming meeting.
