Bahrain-American Council hails HM King's reform project

Manama, Nov. 25 – (BNA): The Bahrain-American Council's Chairman Dr. Al-Sadiq Omar Khalaf-Allah has expressed sincere congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Government and the people of Bahrain on the successful parliamentary and municipal elections conducted on November 22. Dr. Khalaf-Allah has commended the good conducting of honest elections which saw a huge turnout by Bahraini citizens voters at the ballot-boxes which reflects the resolve of the leadership and the people on the democratic path. He said that His Majesty the King's reform project won the strong support of American civil society and religious organisations and leading Members of the US Congress and State Councils. He said that he had received many letters from American civil society organisations, including the Association of Former Members of US Congress, American Women's Union, American Catholic Conference and religious organisations in which they expressed their support and backing of the democratic reforms process of His Majesty the King. He lauded the huge efforts of the Kingdom's Ambassador Shaikh Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Khalifa and Embassy members in Washington and their role in showcasing the reform vision of His Majesty the King and the Bahraini Government in American circles which culminated in rectifying the unfavorable image which some hostile organisations and individuals tried to monger in the USA. He stressed that the reform project of His Majesty the King has achieved security, prosperity, democracy and unity to all denominations of the Bahraini community whereas the insightful vision of His Majesty the King has become a perfect example in the region. In conclusion of his statement, the Chairman of the Bahrain-American Council has his firm belief that the Kingdom's current legislative elections will boost democratization and push forward the ongoing reforms and development in Bahrain under the wise leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
