Bahrain – South Korea customs cooperation discussed

Manama, Mar10(BNA) Customs Affairs Chief, World Customs Organisation (WCO) Vice President and Regional Representative for North Africa, Near and Middle East region Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa bin Ali Al-Khalifa received South Korean Customs Service Deputy Commissioner Dae-Young Lee, and the accompanying delegation, and discussed key issues. South Korean Ambassador to Bahrain Jonha Yu attended the meeting along with general directors and customs planning and policies director. The two sides spotlighted difficulties confronting customs authorities in the region, as well as joint cooperation between Bahrain and South Korea. They also discussed the possibility of signing a memorandum of understanding to exchange expertise and apply the best customs practices.
