BACA President receives Youth Minister

Manama, (BNA): President of Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa received Minister of Youth and Sport Affairs Ayman Tawfiq Al-Moayed and discussed with him joint cooperation to carry out cultural infrastructure projects. She congratulated him on his appointment as Minister of Youth and Sport Affairs, wishing him success in bringing about more achievements to Bahrain. Both sides also discussed the restoration project of Bahrain Club front and the clock tower in Muharraq which is celebrated by BACA as "the Capital of Islamic Culture 2018". Shaikha Mai asserted that Bahrain Club building is part of Muharraq's distinguished urban texture which reflects authenticity of its cultural identity. The Youth and Sports Minister hailed BACA's efforts in preserving Bahrain's historical and cultural heritage, voicing constant readiness for cooperation with BACA to boost the cultural momentum in Bahrain.
