BACA President receives US Ambassador

Manama, June 3 (BNA): Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) President Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al-Khalifa received US Ambassador William Roebuck at Bahrain National Museum and briefed him about " Kalila and Dimna, Fables Across time" The storytelling exhibition which runs until September 30, is being held in cooperation with the Children's Museum of Indianapolis, in the United States. BACA President stressed Bahrain's keenness on opening up on others and lining up various programmes and activities round the year, stressing the importance of " Kalila and Dimna, Fables Across time" exhibition as an opportunity to showcase human heritage. She thanked the US Ambassador for his efforts to support cultural activities on Bahrain. Roebuck commended the crucial role of BACA in building bridges between Bahrain and other peoples in the world.
