Azerbaijan`s Mine Action Agency: 100 mines discovered in the liberated areas last week

Baku, April 27, AZERTAC Azerbaijan`s Mine Action Agency has said 100 mines were found in the liberated territories last week. "During the mine-clearing operations in Tartar, Aghdam, Fuzuli, Shusha, Gubadli, Jabrayil and Zangilan districts from April 19 to 24, 82 anti-personnel and 18 anti-tank mines, as well as 79 unexploded ordnance were found and neutralized," the agency said in a statement. "As a result, more than 90.8 hectares were cleared of mines and unexploded ordnance," the agency added.
