Azerbaijani President meets Premier of Great Britain

Azerbaijan, Baku, May 22 / Trend / President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev being on a working visit in Chicago met with the Prime Minister of the Great Britain David Cameron. Azerbaijani President and British Premier praised the development of bilateral relations between the two countries, expressed confidence for strengthening of relations and cooperation. Noting the fruitful results in energy cooperation between Azerbaijan and the Great Britain, the sides stressed joint efforts of Azerbaijani and British oil companies, in particular BP, to develop the "South" energy corridor. President Aliyev and Premier Cameron also discussed the state in Afghanistan, further cooperation to establish peace and safety in this country.
