Azerbaijani President attends informal summit of CIS Heads of State

Azerbaijan, Baku, May 15 /Trend/ President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has attended an informal summit of the CIS Council of Heads of State, AzerTAc reported. Russian President Vladimir Putin welcomed the CIS Heads of State, including the Azerbaijani leader. The Russian President thanked the CIS leaders for accepting the invitation to attend the summit. Current chairman of the CIS, Turkmen President Gurbangulu Berdimuhammedov addressed the event. The summit featured discussions on development of cooperation and integration processes in the CIS.
