Azerbaijani FM to hold second session of G20 ministerial meeting

Azerbaijan, Baku, Feb. 19 / Trend S. Agayeva / Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov, as a leading speaker, will hold the second session of the G20 ministerial meeting, to be held in Mexico on Monday, spokesman for the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry Elman Abdullayev told Trend today. Mammadyarov will act as the leading speaker at the second session titled "Addressing current global challenges in an effective manner" during the G20 informal ministerial meeting in Mexico. Azerbaijan will be represented at G20 for the first time. Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov will attend this meeting. Azerbaijan became one of the 10 countries invited to G20. This year Mexico presides over the G20. Besides the G20 member countries, 10 countries and one organization namely the African Union, Algeria, Austria, Azerbaijan, Cambodia, Chile, Colombia, Norway, Singapore, Spain and the UAE, are invited to the meeting.
