Azerbaijan marks Solidarity Day of World Azerbaijanis

Azerbaijan, Baku, Dec. 31/ Trend / Dec. 31 is celebrated as the Solidarity Day of the World Azerbaijanis every year. Dozens of millions of the Azerbaijanis live in the world today. Since 1993, Dec. 31 is declared as the Solidarity Day of the World Azerbaijanis in accordance with the Azerbaijani President's decree. This year the country marked the remarkable date - the 20th anniversary of Azerbaijan's independence. This day is important in terms of Azerbaijan's statehood and unity of the Azerbaijanis throughout the world. Azerbaijan is an independent and sovereign state since Oct. 18, 1991 and this day is marked as a holiday.
