Azerbaijan, Iran defense ministers to discuss regional security

Azerbaijan, Baku, March 11 / Trend / Azerbaijani Defense Minister, Colonel General Safar Abiyev is going to pay an official visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran on Monday to further bolster military ties between the two neighboring states, Iranian media reported. Safar Abiyev will visit Iran upon an official invitation extended to him by his Iranian counterpart Brigadier General Ahmad Vahidi. During his stay, Colonel General Abiyev and his entourage will hold separate meetings with Iran's defense minister and other top Iranian officials on issues of mutual interest.
