Azerbaijan discloses 1H2020 revenues from cargo trucking

BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 20 By Nargiz Ismayilova - Trend: Azerbaijan carried out cargo transportation by road worth $3.5 billion from January through June 2020, which is 2.8 percent more compared to the same period of 2019, Trend reports citing a report of the State Customs Committee (SCC). During the reporting period, the volume of cargo transportation by road amounted to 1.8 million tons, which is 1.1 percent more compared to the same period to 2019. The volume of exports by road dropped by 6.7 percent and amounted to 688,388 tons, amounting to $621.1 million, an increase of 0.3 percent. The volume of imports by road during the reporting period amounted to 1,144 tons, having increased by 5.8 percent. In monetary terms, Azerbaijan’s import reached $2.9 billion, showing an increase of 3.5 percent. In 1H2020, Azerbaijan's trade turnover amounted to $12.6 billion.
