Azerbaijan Defence Minister visits Bahrain landmarks

Manama, Dec. 27 (BNA)-- Azerbaijani Defence Minister Zakir Hasanov and his accompanying delegation visited today Bahrain National Museum, Beit Al Quran and Bahrain Fort where they were briefed about the kingdom's history and civilisation. At Beit Al Quran, he was given a detailed account on its departments and museum which contains studies and researches on the Holy Quran and the life of Prophet Mohammed (PBUH). At Bahrain Fort, the Minister listened to a briefing on the fort, the historical phases it has undergone and ways of restoring it. He also visited Bahrain Fort Museum and was informed about including the fort on UNESCO's World Human Heritage list.
