Awqaf Ministry Calls for Sighting Ramadan Crescent

Doha, July 16 (QNA) - The Crescent Moon Sighting Committee at the Ministry of Awqaf (endowments) and Islamic Affairs, has called upon all Muslims in Qatar to sight the new crescent moon of Ramadan on Thursday evening, the 29th of Shaaban 1433 AH, corresponding to the 19th of July. The committee appealed to those who could be able to sight the crescent moon to come to its premises at the Ministry building located in Al-Dafnah (the Towers area) to give testimony where the panel will meet immediately after Maghreb (Sunset) prayer next Thursday.
