Asian assaulted; four suspects arrested

Manama, Aug. (BNA): General Director of Southern Governorate Police announced on Saturday that in connection with a circulated video in the social media of an Asian who was physically assaulted in Riffa, the district police had arrested four suspects. He said that the incident was investigated by the police and the victim was found and his statement was taken. The offenders were identified and arrested. Legal proceedings are being taken to refer the case to the Public Prosecution. (MOI – Police Media Centre).
