Arab Parliament condemns Iran's interference

Cairo, Jan. 13 (BNA): Arab Parliament (AP) has reiterated its condemnation of the terror cell in Bahrain, Iran's attempts of interference in the internal affairs of Bahrain and threatening its security and stability. The AP, in its statement issued at the conclusion of its fourth annual regular session in Cairo, stressed Bahrain's legitimate right to address the Iranian attempts through legal and political means. The statement warned of the blatant Iranian interference in the internal affairs of Arab countries, saying it was fueling sectarianism, undermining Arab entity cohesion, threatening national security and violating the sovereignty of Saudi Arabia. It reiterated full support for Saudi Arabia in its firm stance towards Iran, calling for the adoption of a crucial Arab stance to counter Iranian meddling in the region, so as to be a message to all regional and international parties seeking to interfere in Arab affairs. It cautioned that security and stability of Arab countries are facing multiple sources of threats, stressing the need to take a unified stance to maintain the entity of Arab nation and to protect its sovereignty and territorial integrity.
