Arab Ministerial Committee on the Syrian crisis Holds Meeting Headed by HE the Prime Minister

Cairo, March 10 (QNA) - The Arab Ministerial Committee on the Syrian crisis held a meeting Saturday morning headed by HE the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor Al Thani at the Arab League headquarters in Cairo, in attendance of Arab League Secretary General Nabil Al Araby. They discussed the situation in Syria amid the mission initiated today by United Nations and Arab League special envoy to Syria Kofi Annan and his deputy, former Palestinian foreign minister Nasser al-Qudwa. The meeting is part of the 137th session of the Arab League Council at the level of Foreign Ministers which will be held later today under Kuwait in succession to Qatar. The committee includes the Foreign Ministers of Egypt, Sudan, the Sultanate of Oman, Algeria, and the Arab League Secretary General. (QNA)
