Arab Giving Forum to be held on March 30

Manama, Jan. 31 (BNA): The fourth Arab Forum "Zayed Giving Initiative" will open in Bahrain on March 30. The two-day symposium will be held under the patronage of Labour and Social Development Minister Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan, in the presence of Arab voluntary work experts. The minister stressed the importance of constructive initiatives which aim to develop Gulf and Arab societies and foster the culture of dedication and giving. "This is the first time the forum is held outside the United Arab Emirates which reflects strong bilateral relations", he said. He hailed the Zayed Giving Initiative and commended the efforts of the Arab Society for Social Responsibility, paying tribute to late Shaikh Zayed bin Sultan Al-Nahyan for his development projects. Arab Society for Social Responsibility Chairman Sultan bin Abdulrahman said that the conference will strengthen Bahrain's role and promote the culture of voluntary work in the Arab world.
