Anadolu Agency and BUA News sign cooperation agreement

CAPE TOWN (A.A) - 15.02.2011 - Turkey's Anadolu Agency (AA) and South Africa's BUA News signed a cooperation agreement in Cape Town on Tuesday.
The agreement between AA and BUA News foresees exchange of news reports and photos as well as holding mutual visits and training programs.
AA Deputy Director General Tahsin Akti and South Africa Press and Information Deputy Director General Vusi Mona signed the agreement.
Mona said that both Turkey and South Africa were two important countries attracting attention of whole world.
Akti said that Turkey pursued a policy of opening to Africa and increased number of its embassies in that continent.
AA aimed to open offices in the central and south of Africa, he added.
Anadolu Agency is serving as the Turkish semi official news agency since it was founded on April 6, 1920 by Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, the founder of the Turkish Republic.
