Ambassador to Egypt attends Christmas celebrations

Cairo, Jan. 7 (BNA): Bahraini Ambassador to Egypt Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, the Permanent Representative to the Arab League, conveyed the greetings of the leadership to Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi and Pope Tawadros II, Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of the See of St. Mark. This came as he took part yesterday in the Christians' celebration of Christmas at St. Mark Cathedral which was attended by the Egyptian President. The Bahraini ambassador lauded strong ties binding both countries and their progress in various fields. He also praised the spirit of brotherhood and unity between Muslims and Christians which characterises the Egyptian people, wishing them more progress and prosperity.
