Almost 50% growth in volume of foreign and mutual trade of Kyrgyzstan recorded

Bishkek, May 14, 2022. /Kabar/. The volume of foreign and mutual trade in goods of the Kyrgyz Republic in January-March 2022 amounted to $2.1 billion, and increased by 48.4% compared to same period of 2021, the National Statistics Committee said. Exports decreased by 13.6%, while imports, on the contrary, grew 1.7-fold. The volume of mutual trade of Kyrgyzstan with member states of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) in January-March 2022 amounted to $835.4 million, and in comparison with January-March 2021 increased by 21.3%. Meanwhile, export supplies increased by 23%, import supplies - by 20.7%. The biggest share of mutual trade of the republic with EAEU member states in January-March 2022 fell to Russia (68.6%) and Kazakhstan (29.6%).
