Almost 5 mln people arrive in Kyrgyzstan since beginning of year

He said that this figure is 2.5 times more than in the same period of 2021 - 2 million 201 thousand people. “In turn, according to the data of the Border Guard Service of the Kyrgyz Republic, the total number of arrived citizens from countries of near and far abroad, falling under the classification of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), during 6 months of 2022 amounted to 3 million 823 thousand 706 people, which is almost 2 times more than in the same period of 2021,” the official said. In addition, Shatmanov emphasized that according to the State Tax Service, the receipt of tax payments to the budget of the republic during 6 months of 2022 amounted to 388 million 175 thousand soms.
