Al-Sharq: Manama, Riyadh share similar stances

Riyadh, Oct. 26 (BNA): The Saudi-based Al-Sharq newspaper has confirmed that Saudi-Bahraini issues have never been a political matter, in the traditional sense of bilateral relations, but a brotherly one based on mutual understanding and love, sincerity and a moral responsibility.
In its editorial today, the newspaper asserted that the outstanding relations between the two countries are not strengthened by virtue of geographical proximity only, but also because of kinship bonds and love between their citizens.
Relations between the two neighbouring Arab and GCC countries also enjoy the constant support of their leaderships, as reflected in their regular meetings, the newspaper added.
Riyadh and Manama adopt similar stances and are committed to similar principles, given the common destiny bonding the two kingdoms and the outstanding ties bonding their leaderships and peoples, the newspaper also said.
The article stressed that the meeting between the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa here yesterday confirmed that the long-standing bilateral relations will continue to flourish in every field.
