Al Shafallah Receives USD 180,000 from Mitsubishi

Doha, March 04 (QNA) - Al Shafallah Center for children with special needs has received the annual support provided by Mitsubishi of USD 180,000 for the year 2012. Mitsubishi has committed to providing financial support to the center, amounting USD 1.8 Million to be paid over ten years by 180 thousand dollars a year. Director of Al shafallah centre Samira Al Qassimi expressed her belief that this cooperation between Shafallah centre and Mitsubishi will help and contributes to completing many of the achievements, praising cooperation between Qatar and Japan. She explained in a speech today that the previous trenches received from Mitsubishi were spent on several programmes conducted by the centre. For his part, the Japanese ambassador in Doha Kingero Monge expressed his appreciation for the wise leadership of Qatar that pays special attention to the education sector as well as children with special needs. Director of Mitsubishi Corporation Qatar Keche Kadoaki explained that the company being keen to keep up with the convictions of HH Sheikha Moza bint Nasser of the importance and effectiveness of the family and the role of children in the community, especially those with special needs, Mitsubishi in 2008 committed to pay USD 180,000 a year for a period of ten years, bringing the total amount to USD 1.8 million.
