Al-Dhahrani meets Pakistani leadership

Islamabad, May. 7. (BNA) – Speaker of the Representatives Council Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Dhahrani and his accompanying delegation met here today the Pakistani President Mamnoon Hussain. President Mamnoon Hussain expressed the Pakistani people's extraordinary love for Bahrain –King, government and people, noting that whatever affects Bahrain affects Pakistan. He requested Al-Dhahrani to convey his greetings to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier, expressing hope that Bahrain will invest in his country's mega projects. Al-Dhahrani conveyed greetings from HM the King, HRH Premier and HRH Crown Prince to the Pakistani President, noting that the visit is in line with HM King Hamad's directives to strengthen ties with friendly Pakistan. The Kingdom's delegation also held a meeting with the Pakistani Prime Minister Mohammed Nawaz Sharif. Premier Sharif expressed pride in his country's relations with the kingdom, expressing desire to visit Bahrain as soon as possible. He cited his directives to Pakistani traders and investors to discuss opportunities available in Bahrain in all sectors. He called for the need to strengthen ties with Bahrain and expand areas of cooperation with it in the trade and economic fields. Al-Dhahrani said the two countries should enhance their relations and contacts, noting that HM King Hamad's recent visit to Pakistan should reflect positively on all sectors. He added that the Pakistani Premier's visit to Bahrain at the invitation of HM the King will be appreciated by the Bahraini people. In another meeting, Al Dhahrani and members of the delegation Bahraini-Pakistani relations with the President of the Senate of the Parliament of Pakistan Nair Hussain Bukhari. Nair Hussain Bukhari welcomed the delegation and praised the importance of HM the King's recent visit to his country in developing bilateral relations. He lauded HM the King's wise leadership, noting that the Royal wisdom has enable Bahrain to overcome the challenges it has faced. The two sides called for the need to consolidate joint trade, investment and political relations. W H Q
