Al Attiyah Meets German Environment Minister

Bonn, May 04 (QNA) - HE Chairman of the Administrative Control and Transparency Authority Abdullah bin Hamad Al Attiyah, who is also the president-elect of the Climate Change Conference (COP 18) met here Friday with Germany’s Minister of State for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety Juergen Baker, on the sidelines of the Ministerial Conference on climate Change opened here today. During the meeting, they discussed the most important topics on the agenda of the ministerial conference on climate change in particular. The meeting also discussed Qatar’s hosting the Conference of States Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change to be held in November 2012. The meeting was attended by members of the delegation accompanying HE the Chairman of the Administrative Control and Transparency Authority, and the President of the Conference of climate change (COP 18).(QNA)
