Advisory Council Holds Weekly Session

Doha, December 12 (QNA) - The Advisory Council held Monday its 40th regular weekly session at the White Palace, chaired by its Speaker HE Mohammad bin Mubarak al-Khulaifi. At the outset of the meeting, the HE the Council's Secretary General Fahad bin Mubarak al-Khayarin read the approved council's agenda. The Council then ratified its previous minutes. The Council discussed the supplementary report of the Financial and Economic Affairs Committee on a draft law amending the provisions of Law No. (7) of 1987 on the Control on GCC Nationals' Practice of Commercial Activity in Qatar. The Council decided to return the above mentioned report to the Committee for further study and then prepare a supplementary report thereon to the Council. (QNA)
