Advisory Council Expresses Confidence in Wise Leadership of HH Sheikh Tamim

Doha ,July 01 (QNA) -The Advisory Council held this morning its ordinary weekly regular session under its Speaker HE Mohammed bin Mubarak al-Khulaifi. At the outset of the meeting, HE the Speaker of the Council gave the following statement: On the twenty-fifth of last June, HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani was handed over reins of power by HH the Father Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani and with allegiance of our loyal Qatari people to express support for HH the Emir. On this historic occasion, we would like to express our great pride and appreciation to HH the Father Emir, who had adopted during his rule a wise and balanced policy that has had the greatest impact in maintaining the stability of our country and in achieving a comprehensive developmental renaissance represented in the many achievements accomplished in various fields. HH the Father Emir was also keen to provide a decent life for the citizens of this nation and to secure their future. Due to his sharp vision, HH the Father Emir enabled the state of Qatar to have a deserved lofty status and reinforced its position at the international level. We pray the Almighty Allah to maintain his health and wellbeing. We are fully confident in the wise leadership of HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, who had been actively participating in the development of the State while he was assuming office as the Heir Apparent of Qatar. He has exerted great efforts along with HH the Father Emir to take Qatar to the high status which it had reached position. HH has a sharp vision and full awareness of the state's internal and external affairs and he is the best successor to the best predecessor. We firmly believe that the State of Qatar will achieve in his era, with the help of Allah, further achievements in various fields . And that would lead to further progress and prosperity of our loyal people and would enhance the privileged position that our state had reached Afterwards Council Secretary General Fahd bin Mubarak Al Khayareen read out the agenda which has been approved. The Council also endorsed minutes of its previous sessions. The Council Secretary General then read out Emiri Decision No. 70 of 2013 extending the term of the Advisory Council for three calendar years starting on the first of July 2013 and ending on 30 June 2016 Council Secretary General also read out Emiri Decree No. 30 of 2013 which was issued by HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani adjourning the Advisory Council's 41st session as of Sunday 28th of Shaaban 1434 AH, corresponding to 7 July 2013. According to the decision, all concerned bodies, each within its area of competence, shall implement this decree and it is to be published in the official gazette.(QNA)
